During this 1.5 hour long training, attendees will hear from three different leaders in environmental justice issues.
- Reilly Morse, General Counsel for the Mississippi Center for Justice, will discuss outcomes of litigation on the environmental justice landscape regarding flooding.
- Dr. David Perkes, Director of Gulf Coast Community Design Studio, will identify built and policy solutions to environmental justice issues regarding flooding.
- Dr. Lisa Reyes Mason of University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work will discuss how to advance social and relational skills to promote climate resilience.
