2020 Virtual Champions of Justice Great Mississippi Road Trip
Honoring Barbara and David Lipman, Stanley “Rip” Daniels, and the Curtis Flowers Defense Team
For almost two decades, the Champions of Justice Dinner has been Mississippi Center for Justice’s opportunity to honor individuals who have made an exemplary contribution to the advancement of justice in Mississippi. The Dinner is also an opportunity thank our partners, without whom our work dismantling systemic forms of injustice in Mississippi would be impossible. In the days following the Dinner, the Great Mississippi Road Trip provided a chance for our supporters to gain firsthand knowledge of MCJ’s work and the history of the fight for civil rights in Mississippi. Together, the events brought together top business leaders, justice allies, political leaders, and philanthropists from around the country to pay tribute to MCJ’s work.
For the first time in our history, MCJ will combine its annual Champions of Justice Dinner and Great Mississippi Road Trip into a single event that will be broadcast online for all to experience. This year, MCJ honors the leadership of Barbara and David Lipman, Stanley “Rip” Daniels, and the Curtis Flowers defense team.
