Markita serves as the Donor Relations Coordinator for MCJ, assisting with the cultivation and maintenance of donor relationships. She is a graduate of Tougaloo College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with an emphasis in African American Studies and a minor in Pre-law. While at Tougaloo, Markita served as the Student Government Association’s Chief Justice, Public Policy Economic Justice Project Lead, and Miss law & policy society. She was also a member of the NAACP, Phi Alpha Delta Law Society, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is also a proud mommy of her son, Markesse.
