Expungement Clinic – Jackson, MS (Hinds County)

The Mississippi Center for Justice, in partnership with the City of Jackson and the Mississippi Impact Coalition, will host an expungement clinic at the Smith Robertson Community Center in Jackson. The clinic provides an opportunity for individuals with a criminal record who may qualify for expungement to take the first step toward a fresh start.

Preregistration and attendance at a policy training are mandatory for participation. The training will be offered on-site the day of the clinic after participants have preregistered.

A background check is highly encouraged. However, individuals who are unable to obtain one before the clinic are still welcome to attend as long as they have preregistered.

Required Court Documents to bring:

For misdemeanors
-Abstract of court record

For felonies:
– Indictment
– Sentencing order
– Discharge order and/or proof of payment of fines and fees
