26 May South Delta housing litigation settled

(Jackson, Miss.) South Delta Regional Housing Authority (SDRHA) and the Mississippi Center for Justice announce that an agreement has been reached in the litigation related to rental increases and maintenance for the SDRHA Housing Rental Program.
The agreement was reached May 20, 2011. While terms of the agreement are confidential, the parties believe that this agreement will provide more affordable, better maintained properties for residents in the six (6) counties of Washington, Sunflower, Issaquena, Humphreys, Sharkey and Bolivar.
